2018 Aston Martin DB11 Specs And News
The Aston Martin replacement for the DB9, the 2018 Aston Martin DB11, is currently on sale, but only in the form of a coupe. Outdoor enthusiasts can expect a convertible version, which Aston Martin calls Volante, arriving in the spring of 2018. We were given an overview of the DB11 last year. We have now seen that it undergoes high-speed tests at the Nurburgring, and one of the cars to be compared is the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Roadster.
At the front, there will be the same grid, the air grille with the mesh of support and the lip of the front spoiler. As expected, the 2018 Aston Martin DB11 in our dealership is rather identical to the DB11 under the size. At the front, there will be the same grid, the air grille with the mesh of support and the lip of the front spoiler. On the sides, the same defensive vents will exist as well as this net line of body at the door. The best part here is that, thanks to the overall design of the DB11, you will not lose your muscular legs in the back if you are going to lose your top. Above the waist is the place where the back variation comes in. The windscreen does not seem to have been shortened, and it is unlikely that the low roof of the 2018 Aston Martin DB11 is sitting. The top folds back when stored. As you can see, the storage door for the retractable top rises from the rear hood to form a duct on both headrests at the rear. This will alter the look of the back a bit, but do not expect anything too dramatic. The most notable change will be the shortened counter-cover to accommodate the storage lid for the top. Because of this, and the pods raised in the storage lid, the rear end should also remain the same.
As is the case with the standard 2018 Aston Martin DB11, the interior should be available in almost all combinations you can imagine, and will be loaded with fine leather and Alcantara everywhere. As you can imagine, there will probably be no real change inside, with the exception of unlimited free space and reduced luggage. The reduced trucking space is a necessary evil to accommodate the retractable top. You cannot always have your cake and eat it too, do not you? Otherwise, expect to see the same general design, an eight inch entertainment screen and similarities with the classic GT design. At least, the car will still have the race to the instrument and this flat-bottomed steering wheel.
The standard powertrain will be Aston Martin twin turbo 5.2-liter V-12, good for 600 horsepower and 516 pounds of torque. We say the standard powertrain, as when the car is on sale, the 2018 Aston Martin DB11 could offer a V-8 input level option. The DB11 prototypes that work on a 4.0-liter V-8 turbocharged from Mercedes-Benz AMG have also been tarnished.
Given that there was no official word on a 2018 Aston Martin DB11, it is too early to talk about price, but I will speculate a bit. We recently learned that the DB11 would sell $ 211,995 here in the US, so plan for a DB11 to exceed $ 220,000.
